Today acupuncture is recognised as a complementary therapy by Western medical practitioners and is successfully used in tandem with current medical care.
Acupuncture is often sought by people experiencing specific pains or symptoms for example osteoarthritis of the knee, or in a more general way to maintain good health or for continued wellbeing. Treatment for a specific condition usually takes several sessions.
Traditional acupuncture aims to treat the whole person rather than their symptoms therefore making it effective for a range of conditions.
I have been practising acupuncture since 2004. I treat clients for general health, pain relief and stopping smoking. Alongside this I specialise in the areas of fertility and paediatric care.
I run treatment sessions in three different locations. In Oxford my treatments take place in the peaceful and accessible setting of Raleigh Park Clinic. The clinic is situated in a residential area of West Oxford, close to the A34 and local bus services. It is close to the Oxford Fertility Unit. The clinic has been running for over 20 years and provides treatment facilities for a wide range of practitioners and health care professionals.
In Witney I run treatment sessions at The Beanbag Natural Health, 2 Wesley Walk, High St, Witney, Oxfordshire. It is conveniently located in the centre of Witney with free parking close by.
I also run regular treatment sessions at the Suilven Centre, East Road, Kirkwall KW15 1LX, Orkney on Orkney, contact me directly (07751 477476) if you would like to arrange a session. Home visits are also available in Orkney.
My availability for appointments is Monday to Saturday, including evenings. Sundays, Bank Holidays and home visits can be arranged.
